Pure and simply delicious food. This is a great place to start your day with amazing food options.

There were multiple servers standing around, but it was like we were invisible or something. The table next door said they waited twenty minutes to be served! Finally I ask one of the wandering servers as she walked by and she explained that they had just opened three days ago, that the servers had zones, and ours was very inexperienced, then she said she would just take over and serve us. She was fantastic, then the manager came and apologised profusely. At the end of the day it was a very good dining experience, the food was excellent, large portions and very flavourful. The service issue was a hiccup that I will not hold against them.

And the restaurant is such a beautiful space. Our server was Teri, she was super kind and engaging. It took us a while before we decided what we wanted and she was super sweet and patient about it. And then when we got our food, checked on us to make sure everything was good. The food was amazing, I got the gourmet, loved it. The potatoes are really good. The portion size is great and filling. I definitely would come back here for breakfast!
Teri was such an attentive and friendly waitress! Will definitely come back.

Downtown Toronto has a new breakfast table, and it arrives with a milestone attached. Pür and Simple has opened its first downtown Toronto location at 110 Harbour St, Unit 106, Toronto, near the waterfront. The opening, announced on October 27, 2026, marks the Canadian breakfast and brunch brand’s 75th restaurant and its 10th anniversary year. Founded in Laval in 2016, the brand has built its name on creative breakfast and brunch dishes served in a welcoming room, and the Harbour Street address brings that format to the downtown core for the first time.
For a neighbourhood that runs on morning routines, the arrival matters. Harbour Street sits close to the waterfront, an area where residents, workers, and visitors are all looking for a sit down breakfast that is a step up from a quick coffee. Pür and Simple now gives that crowd a dedicated breakfast and brunch spot in the heart of downtown, rather than a location they have to travel to. The restaurant is now open to guests.
What makes it special
The milestone is the story. Ten years after its founding in Laval, Pür and Simple has reached 75 restaurants, and it chose downtown Toronto for a first that the brand had not claimed before. A first downtown location is a statement of confidence: the brand is betting that its breakfast and brunch format belongs in one of the busiest dining markets in the country, and that downtown diners will make room for it in their mornings.
The format itself is the second part of the appeal. Pür and Simple is known for creative breakfast and brunch dishes and for genuine hospitality in a welcoming atmosphere. That combination, food that goes beyond the standard breakfast plate and a room that invites people to stay a while, is what has carried the brand from a single Quebec beginning to 75 locations. The downtown restaurant brings that same approach to a new audience, in a part of the city where breakfast is often rushed and rarely celebrated.

What to expect
Expect a breakfast and brunch focused visit. Pür and Simple built its reputation on creative takes on the morning meal, so this is a place to plan a proper breakfast or a late morning brunch, not a quick stop. The brand describes its atmosphere as welcoming and its hospitality as genuine, so the room is meant to feel easy for a first visit, whether you arrive with friends, family, or on your own.
The downtown setting shapes the visit too. Being near the waterfront puts the restaurant within reach of a morning walk along the lake, a stop before a day downtown, or a relaxed weekend brunch close to home for nearby residents. Because the location is newly open, it is worth checking the restaurant’s own listing before you go for the latest hours and menu details, as the official announcement did not publish opening hours or prices for this address.

Practical details

The address is easy to find on Harbour Street, and the waterfront setting makes it a natural stop before or after a walk by the lake.
Who it is for
This is for downtown residents who want a local breakfast spot worth planning around, for workers looking for a proper sit down brunch on a day off, and for visitors staying near the waterfront who want a Canadian breakfast brand rather than a generic hotel breakfast. It is also a good pick for friends meeting for brunch and for anyone who follows new openings and wants to try the brand’s first downtown room early. If you like breakfast done with a creative touch, in a room that invites you to linger, Harbour Street is now on the map.
