I've always been a fan of Meat & Bread and was glad to see them give Victoria another shot. I overheard plenty of orders for the meatball, so I'll be sure to try that next time. M&B is a great addition to downtown Victoria
I can't tell you the last time I had a meal this good, this fast, and ---under--- twenty dollars. Today was my first time trying the new location for the first time. OMG even better than I remember. I had the porchetta sandwich (absolutely delicious) and my partner had the butternut squash soup, also delicious. I’m so happy it’s back. Highly highly recommend 🙂

Meat & Bread, the Vancouver-born sandwich shop known for its porchetta, is back in Victoria with a downtown shop at 1203 Broad St. The brand previously had a Victoria location. Victoria Taste Buds reported Sept. 14, 2026, as the official opening date for the new shop.
